Margaux Moores-Tanvier is a documentary producer and writer with a focus on investigative stories from around the globe. She’s produced features and episodic nonfiction for Tubi, Oxygen, Discovery ID, A&E, HISTORY, and Lifetime, mainly in the true crime genre. Prior to that, she also worked at Six West Media™ for two years, where she helped the formerly small team successfully expand its slate of documentary series and features.
In her work, Margaux values collaboration, essential to produce premium content. She strives to cover topics such as crime, cults, and civil rights abuses in a compelling, cinematic way that also provides an engaging and personal narrative for viewers.
In addition to her network projects, Margaux has worked as a freelance director and producer on over 30 short films, documentaries, music videos, has covered live events, and shot multiple editorial photo shoots. Born in France, with family ties across the globe, she is deeply connected with international news-from political unrest to culture shifts, and tech innovations.
In 2011, Margaux moved to the USA to attend UCLA. She graduated with honors in Political Science and got a minor in Film & Television before moving to New York. There, she secured a Master in Journalism with honors at Columbia University and started her dream career in documentary filmmaking.
